The 59 Club Father Bill Shergold

Club Nights:

The Club is open to visitors between

7:30pm and 11:00pm Wednesday

7:30pm and 11:00pm Saturday

Coffee Bar, Jukebox, Table Tennis, Football Machine.

The main Clubroom has the capability to hold dances and parties.

Please contact the Club beforehand if you intend to visit us on a National, Public or Bank Holiday as we are occasionally closed at these times.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in motorbikes. Annual subscriptions are renewable when your membership expires.  There is a nominal entry fee on Club nights and if you haven't paid your subs for the current year you will be expected to pay the Visitor's entrance fee instead. (Still a very reasonable fee). Current members receive a copy of the Club magazine 'Link', which is posted out once a year. Should you change your address it is essential that you inform the Club as soon as possible so that we can amend our records. We always need and welcome articles from members for the magazine. All contributions are gratefully received.

Entry to the Club is down the side of the Swift Centre, through the blue doors and up the stairs. There is some off-street parking for motorbikes but we do recommend that you lock it securely for safety.

The Club usually holds a ‘Classic Dance’ in October and the annual Tinsel & Turkey Party is held after Christmas. A list of Club events, shows and rallies etc; that the Club will be attending is shown on the website section ‘Events’ and on the Club’s Facebook page. At most of the shows, the Club stand provides free refreshments, but more importantly, somewhere to sit, chat, and meet other members.

The Club is a registered charity and exists on the funds taken in entrance fees, subscriptions, purchases from the coffee bar and the sale of Club regalia and is used solely for your benefit as a member. The small group of Club Leaders are all voluntary and work very hard (and not just on Club nights), so please help out if and when you can. It would be greatly appreciated.
