Rev. Bill Shergold

Fr Bill became Vicar of St Mary of Eton with St Augustine, Hackney Wick, and was head of the Eton College Mission from 1959-1964. It was during this time that he formed the world-famous 59 Motor Cycle Club, and became renowned as the first Ton-up Vicar, immortalised in a cartoon by Giles.
